It all depends on the condition of your boiler. If you are having issues with your boiler the best thing to do is call a heating specialist like Sean Brown Plumbing & Heating Ltd that deal with boiler installation in Fife. They will be able to run diagnostic tests on your boiler to see what is causing the problem.

If it is fixable they will explain the procedures and costs involved with carrying out the repairs. If it's not fixable, they will explain the option that you have for replacing the boiler.

If you have a particularly old boiler it may not be worth doing repairs if the boiler will only last a year or two more. In this case, it may be best to scrap the older model and upgrade now if you have the money. A boiler specialist will be able to answer all your questions and give you the right advice.
